Overview
On June 5, World Environment Day, the second edition of "Rifiutati" was inaugurated in Massa, a festival-exhibition-conference that transforms waste into art and social reflection, conceived and strongly desired by Lorenzo Porzano, Sole Director of Cermec, the Ecology and Resources Consortium of Massa and Carrara. The Festival took place at Cermec, among the warehouses that collect waste from the province of Massa and Carrara throughout the year. The Rifiutati Festival is an opportunity to reflect on waste management and waste recovery. The event involved 50 artists selected by the artistic curator Alessandro Riva with Lorenzo Porzano. Tincolini's work "Venere dei Sassi" was exhibited, created in collaboration with Anffas Onlus Massa Carrara and created using waste material from the processing of a block of marble.
