Marble is life, and makes the ancient heroes with contemporary faces reborn

Sculptor Filippo Tincolini arrives in Pietrasanta with a major solo exhibition that merges tradition and innovation. On one hand, marble stands as a “sacred” material and geological testament; on the other, his passion for a pop imagination inspired by mythology, science-fiction cinema, and comics. The show, supported by the City of Pietrasanta and the Tuscany Region, presents the Ancient Gods series, where ancient heroes meet contemporary superheroes, and the Rebirth from Waste initiative, focused on inclusion and developed with ANFFAS. In this blend of art and community, Tincolini gifts the city with a monumental version of his Spaceman, an astronaut from whose suit bursts a shower of flowers, emblematic of nature’s enduring power.
