An installation consisting of a series of life-sized, empty, crumpled oil drums. They are remnants of contemporaneity transformed into finely crafted works of marble, to take the sculptural rendering of the material to the extreme. Crumpled is thus configured as a reflection on the transience of material things and the ambivalence of their transformation, through art.
